Our process
From First Conversation to Final Handover
Nine straightforward stages, so you always know where a project has reached and what happens next.
Stage 1
Initial Enquiry
Contact James by WhatsApp, telephone, email or the website enquiry form.
Provide a short description of the work, the property location and any useful photographs.
Stage 2
Initial Conversation
James will discuss what you would like to achieve, the likely scope of work and whether Purpose Builds is an appropriate fit for the project.
Stage 3
Site Visit
Where required, a site visit will be arranged to review the space, discuss options and identify any important practical considerations.
Stage 4
Detailed Estimate
A written estimate will set out the anticipated scope of work and associated costs.
Any exclusions, assumptions or project-dependent requirements should be set out clearly.
Stage 5
Project Agreement
For larger projects, key stages, payment arrangements and anticipated scheduling will be agreed before work begins.
Suitable smaller projects may be completed on an agreed day-rate basis.
Stage 6
Preparation
Materials, associate trades, access arrangements and any important client requirements will be coordinated.
Stage 7
Project Delivery
Work will be completed with care, appropriate communication and respect for the client's property.
Stage 8
Changes or Additional Work
If further work is recommended or requested, it will be explained and approval obtained before it is added to the project account.
Stage 9
Completion and Handover
Completed work will be reviewed with the client and any relevant final information provided.
